China's crude oil imports increased from a decline in May, and international crude oil prices rebounded rapidly.
In May, China imported 47.97 million tons of crude oil, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%, and a decrease of 7.5% last month. From January to May, imported crude oil was 215.58 million tons, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year. The spot offshore price of Brent crude oil on May 29 was US$34.15/barrel, up 88.6% from US$18.11/barrel on April 30.
