Indonesia’s thermal coal exports fell 18% on the year in April to a near two-year low as the coronavirus pandemic eroded demand, central bank figures showed on Friday.
The world’s biggest thermal coal exporter shipped 1.05m tonnes/day to foreign destinations, down 18% on the month and the lowest level since August 2018.
