Iran's Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (known as SATBA) has marked a contract with the Water and Wastewater Department of Tehran Province to acquire the electricity produced by the country's merely biogas power plant which is run by the talked about department.
PAVEN accounted that Abbasali Mesrzadeh the Deputy Head of Water and Wastewater Department of Tehran Province stated that based on the contract SATBA is departing to buy regarding 500 billion kilowatt-hours (Kwh) of electricity more than a 15-year period at a base cost of 10,500 rials (2.5 USD), the portal of the Energy Ministry.
