Chinese automobile manufacturer GAC Group has unveiled its first hydrogen fuel cell-powered car at GAC Tech Day 2020.
In a statement, the company said that is has prioritised climate conversation as a strategy and are therefore focusing on hydrogen-based clean energy, which it expects to become a popular solution.
Called Aion LX Fuel Cell, the hydrogen-based vehicle is equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell system independently developed by the company.
The vehicle takes approximately three to five minutes to refuel and boasts an operating range exceeding 650KM, reaching international benchmarks.
At the event, the company also showcased its ADiGO 3.0 intelligent driving interconnected ecosystem and 3DG graphene preparation technology which it hopes will allow it to achieve much more in the future.
