On October 6, the first batch of generating units of Wudongde Hydropower Station-Unit 7 has been operating safely and stably for 100 days.
The Wudongde Hydropower Station is a major national project for the implementation of the "West-to-East Power Transmission". A total of 12 sets of 850,000 kilowatt giant hydro-turbine generator sets are installed on the left and right side of the power plant, with a total installed capacity of 10.2 million kilowatts. The Eighth Bureau of Power Construction Hydropower was responsible for the installation and commissioning of the 6 units on the right bank. Units 7 and 8 that have been put into production are in good operating conditions.
The new unit was put into production for the first time and operated safely and stably for 100 days. This is China Three Gorges Corporation which has formulated a higher first-stability 100-day unit operation standard based on the 72-hour trial operation international standard. It is a comprehensive test and measurement of unit manufacturing, installation and commissioning, and operation management.
