ProCon Wind Energy has closed a deal with Eiffage Métal to install and commission the electrical scope of the transition pieces for the 480MW Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm in France.
The electrical outfitting of the TPs will take place at Eiffage's site in Hoboken before the TPs will be transferred to Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique) where they are to be installed.
The Saint-Nazaire project is owned by EDF Renewables and Enbridge and will feature GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines
ProCon said work has already begun and it is expected to run until the second quarter of 2021.
