On August 25, the first stop of the "Open Day" of CNPC's overseas projects-the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline project "Cloud Open" was officially launched.
The China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline is the largest investment project of PetroChina in Myanmar, including the China-Myanmar crude oil pipeline, the China-Myanmar natural gas pipeline and the Mud Island supporting crude oil terminal project. As of June this year, the crude oil pipeline has transported 33.12 million tons of crude oil and the natural gas pipeline has transported 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas. The first stop of the crude oil terminal, Mad Island, has developed from a primitive island to a large modern crude oil port of 300,000 tons. The China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline project has become a pilot demonstration project of the “Belt and Road” initiative in Myanmar and a model of economic and trade cooperation between China and Myanmar.
