On November 27, dongfang electric group, dongfang turbine co., LTD., in the gas turbine engine laboratory, Chinese Academy of Engineering, 50 mw heavy duty gas turbine run at full capacity to witness team xue-dong Chen officially announced: "dongfang electric self-developed domestic first class F 50 mw heavy duty gas turbine at capacity, various indicators of normal operation, expert witness."
In 2020, Dongfang Electric Will accelerate the process of gas turbine research and development. On May 12th, the design of load test under rotating speed was officially started. On June 22nd, the load reached 25%, on August 10th, and on September 9th, the load reached 75%. On September 22nd, the gas turbine finally operated to 100% load for the first time, making a great breakthrough in the test. On November 27, under the witness of academicians and experts, government leaders and customer representatives, the gas turbine smoothly realized stable operation at full load.
Full load test is the most critical verification node in gas turbine research and development, and also the last performance test before long-term operation of the power station. The complete success of this full-load test indicates that Dongfang Electric Group has fully mastered the whole process of gas turbine design, manufacturing and test, and promoted the leapfrog realization of China's gas turbine industry.
