Boralex has brought online three wind farms in France totalling 64MW of capacity.
The Blanches Fosses wind farm, Seuil de Bapaume extension, both in Hauts-de-France, and repowered Cham Longe in Auvergne Rhone-Alpes take the installed capacity of renewable capacity owned and operated by Boralex in France to over 1GW.
Cham Longe, commissioned on 1 December, hosts 12 3MW Enercon E82 turbines with an installed capacity of 40MW, after repowering.
The Seuil de Bapaume extension, commissioned on 1 December, features five 3.45MW Vestas V117 turbines totalling 17.4MW.
The 11MW Blanches Fosses wind farm was commissioned in November and hosts five 2.2MW Vestas V110 units.
Boralex Europe vice-president and general manager Nicolas Wolff (pictured) said: “”This is a strong signal at the end of such a special year in which renewable energies have proven their resilience but also their importance in the context of the global recovery.”
