On December 20, the last unit of the Jixi Pumped-storage Power Station in Anhui Province was connected to the grid for power generation, marking that all 6 units of the largest pumped-storage power station in China were connected to the grid.
Anhui Jixi Pumped-storage Power Station is an important project in the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” of Anhui Province and the largest pumped-storage power station under construction. Jixi Pumped-storage Power Station is equipped with 6 pumped storage units with a single capacity of 300,000 kilowatts, with a total installed capacity of 180 10,000 kilowatts, exceeding the total installed capacity of the existing and under construction pumped-storage power stations in Anhui Province. It is mainly responsible for the peak load regulation, valley filling, frequency regulation, phase modulation and emergency backup of the East China Power Grid system. Jixi Pumped Storage Power Station deployed Beijing Cinda’s S-NUMEN core system safety protection products to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the power monitoring system.
