In 2020, China has Build a Total of 118 Hydrogen Refueling Stations

07 Jan 2021  by WorldEnergy

As of the end of December 2020, China has built a total of 118 hydrogen refueling stations (excluding 3 dismantled hydrogen refueling stations), and 167 are under construction/planning. Among them, 101 completed hydrogen refueling stations have been put into operation, and 17 are to be operated, with a commissioning ratio of more than 85%.

Data shows that from 2016 to 2019, the number of hydrogen refueling stations built in China has doubled and increased. In 2020, despite the late introduction of the national “reward for subsidy” policy, 47 hydrogen refueling stations will still be built, an increase of 7 compared with 2019. The target of “100 hydrogen refueling stations by 2020” in the policy has been exceeded.
