On January 26, 2021, Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wison Offshore") announced that the 240MW floating gas turbine combined cycle power station project invested and developed by it has successfully started construction at its Nantong base recently. It marks that China's first floating natural gas power plant has officially entered the implementation stage.
The floating power generation project will consist of a floating LNG regasification unit (FSRU) and a 240MW combined cycle natural gas power generation barge.
