Portugal and Morocco have today (2nd Feb) inked a deal to cooperate on green hydrogen.
Signed by the two countries’ respective energy ministers, the joint declaration recognises the strategic opportunity that the decarbonisation of the economy and the energy transition represent.
A statement affirmed government officials consider green hydrogen to be a cleaner and more sustainable energy source, with increasing importance for the future of both countries, as well as environmental sustainability.
The ministers agreed to strengthen cooperation on green hydrogen between the two countries.
