First Batch of Photovoltaic Charging Piles at Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant was Officially Put Into Operation

Recently, the first batch of photovoltaic charging piles in the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant District was officially put into operation, which can meet the charging needs of employees for electric vehicles.

In order to accelerate the construction of new energy infrastructure and promote the development of clean energy demonstration bases, Qinshan Nuclear Power launched the implementation of photovoltaic carports and charging pile projects in the factory in April 2020, and carried out the installation of charging piles, equipment commissioning, and charging trial operation. The project adopts the form of "photovoltaic + carport + charging pile", which not only keeps the car sun and heat insulated, but also uses the clean electricity generated by the photovoltaic power generation system on the top of the carport to provide charging services for electric vehicles, realizing photovoltaic power generation, vehicle parking, and electric vehicles System integration such as charging has good energy saving and emission reduction effects.
