Siemens Gamesa has won a significant service extension contract for the 600MW Gemini Wind Park in the Dutch North Sea until 2036.
The turbine manufacturer said the original 15-year long-term service programme has been extended by another five years.
Gemini Wind Park is a JV between Northland and Van Oord located 85km off the coast of Groningen.
Siemens Gamesa said that the new agreement builds on the service work it has provided since 2016 including full maintenance of the 150 SG 4.0-130 wind turbines installed at one of the largest offshore wind parks in the Netherlands.
