According to a Reuters statement that reveals predictions from tanker tracking firms that Iran’s crude oil exports since the beginning of the month have hit about 500,000 barrels per day (bpd).
The statement stated that this is lower than March levels but much higher than a year ago.
“Exports have continued at these elevated levels longer than we expected,” Reuters cited the CEO of Petro-Logistics, Daniel Gerber, as stating that “And with constructive talks occurring in Vienna, we may never see a return to the 2020 lows.”
