On June 16, Australian scientists wrote in the latest issue of "Science" magazine that they have developed a direct zero-carbon emission ammonia synthesis method.
This is the first time in the world, and it is expected to accelerate the pace of green ammonia production and give birth to a new green ammonia economy.
The researchers said that the direct zero-carbon ammonia synthesis method they are currently exploring includes an electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction, which requires only air, water and renewable energy to produce ammonia at room temperature and pressure.
