Spanish energy company Capital Energy has taken the wraps off 504MW of new wind farms in its home market.
The outfit is developing the Céfiro (192 MW), Paucali (114 MW), Arlo (102 MW) and Argestes (96 MW) parks located in the provinces of Teruel, Zaragoza and Tarragona.
Turbines with 6MW ratings are planned across the portfolio.
Capital said it will spend around €330m on the quartet, which will be capable of producing more than 1.5 million MWh per year, enough to supply clean energy to about 630,000 Aragonese homes.
Some 2900 people will be employed during construction.
The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (Miteco) has released to public information the authorization requests, added the developer.
The projects will add to the company’s expanding 35GW renewables pipeline across Iberia.
