Beijing is set to conduct a series of scheduled power outages that will cover multiple districts, information showed on the official website of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). SGCC in Beijing replied on Tuesday via its official social media account that there is no power supply gap across power grids in the capital.
According to the power cut search system on the official website of SGCC, Beijing's scheduled power cut covers Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang and Haidian districts.
Multiple scheduled power cuts in different places will only last for several hours. The earliest scheduled power cut has been conducted on Tuesday and the latest will be conducted on October 9.
SGCC in Beijing said on Tuesday via its official account of Chinese social media Sina Weibo that the power supply of capital is highly stable and well managed, and is able to meet the entire city's power demand.
SGCC in Beijing also noted that the scheduled power cut is caused by regular maintenance and upgrade of power grid to ensure its continued normal operations.
