Atlantique Offshore Energy has been selected by an unnamed major power company to deliver the offshore substation to an undisclosed offshore wind farm.
The company said it will execute the full engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the topside and foundation.
The unit is scheduled to be delivered in 2025, Atlantique Offshore Energy said.
“With the completion of three substations in Northern Europe in the recent years, the ongoing execution of the three first substations to be installed in France and of another project for Orsted, this contract reinforces the position of Atlantique Offshore Energy on this competitive market,” the company added.
Atlantique Offshore Energy is Chantiers de l’Atlantique’s business unit dedicated to marine energy.
