In a statement, NTPC said the deal supports the group’s target to reach 60GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
The subsidiary has won 4GW of renewable energy capacity through bidding in less than two years since it started.
It is also developing a 4.75GW capacity of renewable energy parks in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
NTPC REL also signed a joint venture agreement with DVC to develop renewable energy parks and projects.
