The 31th edition of the EUBCE will be convened in person, over the course of four days, from the 5th to the 8th of June 2023, in Bologna (Italy) and one day dedicated to technical visits. Registered participants and media will be able to watch the sessions live and keep up-to-date.
About EUBCE
Since 1980 EUBCE is covering the full spectrum of biomass knowledge and innovation, from the basic science and engineering of materials and systems to the examination of policy and markets and critical issues of social impact. EUBCE is a highly interactive and inclusive venue for everyone, from senior experts to students. The conference provides a unique opportunity to meet, share, and discuss biomass-related developments in a timely and influential environment.
The scientific programme is coordinated by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.

The call for papers is open until 18 November 2022 and we invite experts to start planning your paper to be part of the technical programme in June 2023.

As researchers, your aim is to publish and disseminate your findings and results, to uncover potential research collaborations, to progress in your academic career and to secure research funding. EUBCE will offer the options to give you the best chance of publishing in an international journal suitable for PhD and Post Docs students, as well as for researchers who have experience in the dissemination their research results.

Visibility
Accepted abstracts will be invited for a plenary, oral, or visual presentation, after which they will be:

published online with a full open-access policy on the
EUBCE proceedings website;
• indexed in Scopus – the world’s largest database of peer-reviewed research literature;
•
coded by a digital identifier (DOI code) that guarantees unequivocal and permanent identification and citability (in case of full paper submission);
• considered for
the Student Awards, which recognise the most remarkable and outstanding research work in a field by young enrolled applicants (if requested during the abstract submission).
