There is still time to weigh in on the strategy for gas, renewables and hydrogen partnerships in South Africa.
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) has extended the deadline for comment on the consultation document to develop the strategy.
NERSA is asking for stakeholder comment, views and perspectives on the prospects of achieving a coordinated development of gas alongside renewable energy and hydrogen in the South African energy markets.
In particular, they want to gain insight on the current realities for gas in the evolving energy transition environment. They also want to explore the related opportunities and challenges that may be useful to charting the path forward to develop the gas industry in South Africa.
