Philippine-based ACEN has partnered with BrightNight to develop a more than 1.2-gigawatt hybrid renewable energy in India.
The project will include hybrid wind-solar and round-the-clock renewable power projects in the country. In line with this, ACEN plans to deploy some US$250m equity and related performance guarantees.
“With this partnership, we are significantly strengthening our foothold in India’s fast-growing market as we shift from pure solar play to multi-technology renewables,” Patrice Clausse, ACEN International CEO, said.
