EDC is the largest geothermal operator with around 1,170 MW under operation and has been on the forefront to push renewable energy development, social responsibility and community engagement. Allan Barcena has been with EDC for nearly 12 years and is Assistant Vice President and Head, Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Relations at the company.
Before joining EDC he was Executive Director, Land Administration and Management Project (LAMP) at the World Bank Group, and before that he was Director of the Land Management Bureau of the Philippines’ Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
