Now in its 14th edition, EGPD has been held at universities across Europe and is normally attended by 50-80 PhD students. This year’s event is being organized by students from the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, and University of Edinburgh.
The three-day event aims to give PhD researchers a platform to showcase their work and network with other PhD students in the geothermal community. There will be two days of talks and poster presentations (including invited keynote speakers) hosted on University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde campuses. The schedule and list of presentations and posters for the conference are now available here.
The third day will comprise a workshop and half-day field trip to the BGS GeoEnergy Observatory in Glasgow.
