The helicopter services contract represents a continuation of HeliService’s work with Omexom, since the offshore transport provider was the previous partner for Omexom and won contracts with the offshore wind farm operator in the three separate bids.
“As we secure this new contract with Omexom, we must not forget that the helicopter industry is a highly competitive one. Our success depends on delivering exceptional service that sets us apart from our competitors. Our customers trust us to deliver, and we must continue to exceed their expectations and earn their loyalty every step of the way”, said Jens Oliver Freiland, CEO of HeliService.
Under the latest agreement, which went into effect on 1 April, HeliService will be providing both planned and unplanned flights to the platforms and hoisting operation to winch areas for the five offshore wind farms, with the company’s AW169 helicopter to be used as the main aircraft for the operations.
The contract has been signed for two years, with two options for extension, each for twelve months, making it a total of four years maximum.
