The innovative, energy-saving fifth generation of heating and cooling supply can be realized. The required pumping test was successful.
Around 70 to 75 percent of the heating and cooling requirements of the companies and research facilities on the new MARK 51°7 site in Bochum, Germany, will be supplied with climate-friendly heating and cooling in the future. The existing infrastructure will be reused for this purpose. The water required will be obtained from the flooded mine tunnels of a former coalmine. These were accessed via two new boreholes, about 300 and 800 meters deep.
Oil Dynamics GmbH has supported this innovative project by developing, supplying and installing the complete pumping systems for both wells. Learn more about this exciting project: https://lnkd.in/de8SCn2F
