On May 9th, 2023, Tongwei Group announced the launch of a renewable materials project in Inner Mongolia, China. The signing ceremony was held in partnership with the People's Government of Dalhan Maomingan League, and a contract was signed for a 300,000-ton renewable materials project. Both parties have agreed to jointly promote energy transformation and renewable production projects and achieve local low-carbon goals.
This project will expand Tongwei's business scope in the photovoltaic industry. A new company with a registered capital of 10 million yuan has been established to handle the project. The new company's main business includes non-coal mining, general non-ferrous metal smelting, photovoltaic equipment, and product manufacturing, among others.
