Apart from the excellence in product quality, durability, reliability and design, First Solar's professional recycling services and strong commitment to social responsibility are also key factors in earning the trust of Energix once again.

The company states that their solar modules have one of the lowest carbon and water footprints of any commercially available solar module today. They are dedicated to de-risking exposure to solar supply chains by using differentiated thin-film semiconductor, integrated manufacturing process and tightly controlled supply chain.
Under the partnership, all end-of-life modules from Energix's projects will be processed by First Solar's pioneering high-value recycling program, providing closed-loop semiconductor recovery for use in new modules. Additionally, as a member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), the company adheres to strict criteria and is dedicated to supporting the rights and well-being of workers and communities.
"This is another example of a large, sophisticated player choosing to de-risk its development portfolio by working with us," said Georges Antoun, Chief Commercial Officer of First Solar.
"They recognize that they do not simply get a high-quality, high-performance, responsibly-produced PV module, but a trusted partner and long-term pricing and supply certainty, which are rarities in the solar industry," added Antoun.
Prior to this deal, First Solar has secured over 3.5 GWdc of module orders from Energix since 2017. "With shared goals and a united vision for a sustainable energy future, this deal perfectly suits our needs, paving the way for groundbreaking achievements and reinforcing our commitment to our stakeholders," commented Asa Levinger, CEO of Energix Renewables.
