The Cabinet of Ministers has set up an interdepartmental working group to study possibility of construction of the chain of hydropower plants on the Chatkal River.
The group was allowed one month to study such possibility. The results will be submitted to the Ministry of Energy.
Heads of local administrations will provide necessary information to the group to help its work.
The 9-member group is led by Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov. Minister of Energy Talaibek Ibraev is his deputy.
