The turbine, with a nameplate capacity of 13 megawatts, is capable of providing power to more than 6,000 homes and businesses in the state, the companies said in a statement.
The project entails the installation of 62 wind turbines which can provide 806 MW to power almost 400,000 Massachusetts homes and businesses.
Vineyard Wind began offshore construction in late 2022 and completed the first U.S. offshore substation in July, the companies said.
