AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Energy Talaibek Ibraev signed several documents with the purpose of deepening of cooperation with China in energy sector and joint implementation of projects in energy sector as part of official visit of Premier of China's State Council Li Qiang to Kyrgyzstan on October 25.
The framework agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Molin Energy was signed. The goal of this agreement is cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Molin Energy on construction of renewable energy objects with capacity of 400 GW.
The sides reached agreement on construction of 400 MW photovoltaic power plant in Kok-Moinok rural municipality, Ton district of Issyk-Kul region.
The Chinese side will determine the amount of preliminary investments for the project.
The framework agreement was signed between the Ministry of Energy and Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. The goal of this agreement is production of electricity from solar and wind power in Kyrgyzstan.
The non-disclosure agreement was signed based on the memorandum of understanding signed in Xinjiang on August 19, 2023. The sum of investments will be determined following completion of the technical and economic assessments.
