The second consultation for the 840MW generation capacity Botley West solar farm is set to take place from 30 November 2023 to 8 February 2024.
One of the largest Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) in the UK, Botley West will be a 1,000 hectare facility, located in Oxfordshire.
Taking place exactly one year after the beginning of its first public consultation, Phase Two will be brought forward by Photovolt Development Partners (PVDP) and provide an update on proposals for Botley West, following Phase One.
“The feedback received [during Phase One], together with information from our environmental and technical surveys and discussions with technical stakeholders, has informed the development of our design. Phase One consultation was open to all interested members of the public and featured digital and non-digital methods for engagement,” read Botley West solar farm’s Statement of Community Consultation, November 2023.
The project will be split across three sites situated in Cherwell, West Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.
