The Kepahiang WKP, established in 2012, is also sometimes referred to as the Gunung Kaba WKP. The cited geothermal potential of Kepahiang based on MEMR documents is 74 MW (speculative) and 180 MW (suspected).
Star Energy currently operates the Wayang Windu (230.5 MW), Salak (381 MW), and Darajat (274.5 MW) geothermal power plants. In 2022, Singapore-based Green Era Pte Ltd (Green Era) acquired a 33.33% stake in Star Energy.
