Under the agreement, the French energy company takes an 85% stake in the 240 MW Jammerland Bugt project and a 72% stake in the 165 MW Lillebaelt Syd project – both due to become operational by 2030.
Electricity produced from the wind farms will be sold via power purchase agreements, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
TotalEnergies and European Energy said they would form a joint venture to bid on offshore wind tenders in Denmark.
The Nordic nation is due to tender 6 GW of new offshore capacity later this year.
