Transmark Turkey Signs EPC Contract for 3.2 MW Geothermal Power Plant with Kaishan

Transmark Turkey has signed an EPC contract with Chinese supplier Zheijang Kaishan Compressor and its subsidiary Open Mountain Energy for the construction of a 3.2 MW binary geothermal power plant in Canakkale, Turkey.

As reported before the weekend from China, geothermal developer Transmark Turkey has signed an EPC Geothermal Power Plant Contract with

Zhejiang Kaishan Compressor Co., Ltd., the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Open Mountain Energy (Eurasia) Pte. Ltd. (as contractor) have signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreement for a geothermal power plant in Canakkale, Turkey.

The contract has a value of USD 6,035,200 US dollars (excluding tax). Transmark has made a down payment of 20% of the total EPC contract price of $1,027,700 and temporary opening.

The contact is for the delivery of an ORC module power generation equipjment with an installed power generation capacity of 3.2 MW, with the net power generation capacity of the equipment needing to reach a guaranteed net capacity of 2.059MW.
