SK Oceanplant awarded Glamox a contract to provide 468 linear Glamox TL60-1200 LED luminaries and 52 Glamox RLX80 floodlights to light 52 transition pieces at the 1,044 MW Hai Long 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
The installation of the lighting will be done by SK Oceanplant and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
The second contract was awarded to Glamox by HSG Sungdong Shipbuilding of Korea to provide 636 Glamox MIR linear luminaries and 36 Glamox FL60 40W floodlights to light 36 transition pieces for the Greater Changhua 2b and 4 projects in Taiwan.
The installation will be carried out at the yard and is set for completion in the third quarter of 2025.
The 920 MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 will comprise around 65 wind turbines with an individual output of 14 MW installed some 35-60 kilometers off the Changhua coast.
The last contract was awarded from Hyundai Engineering & Steel Industries (HESI) of South Korea to provide 170 linear Glamox MIR luminaries, 50 Glamox MIX luminaries, and 28 Glamox E20-S emergency lighting kits to light ten transition pieces at the 99 MW Jeonnam Phase 1 offshore wind project.
The installation will be undertaken by HESI and is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
The offshore wind project is being developed by SK E&S and Danish Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).
