Chinese solar technology company LONGi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd (SHA:601012) has partnered with Solar Electric Vietnam JSC (SEV) to deliver an 11-MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project for Vietnamese garment manufacturer and exporter Tan De Company.
The project, completed in September, spans nine of Tan De's factories and uses LONGi's Hi-MO X6 modules with anti-dust technology. The solar arrays are expected to generate 12,603 MWh annually, helping Tan De meet international green manufacturing standards, LONGi said on Thursday.
Duong Vu, deputy head of SEV's Technical Department, noted that the systems demonstrated resilience by remaining undamaged during the Yagi typhoon that struck northern Vietnam earlier in September.
