BYD’s Sealion 07 EV Comes to Norway

BYD continues to expand its electric vehicle offerings around the world. While more exotic locations have been getting more of the attention lately (like Guatemala, Paraguay, Chile, Kenya, Zambia, and Pakistan), that also includes offering more models in more European countries. The news this week is that BYD is now offering Sealion 07 EV in Norway, but as the … Sealion 7. Don’t ask me, I don’t know what’s going on there, but it’s the same as BYD has done in other European countries.

Funny enough, this is BYD’s 7th model for sale in Norway. The others are the BYD Dolphin, BYD Seal U (Song Plus EV), BYD Seal, BYD Tang, BYD Atto 3 (Yuan Plus EV), and BYD Han.

The price of the Sealion 7 starts at NOK 469,900 ($42,150) in Norway.

While this is the 7th BYD model in Norway, it’s the first one to use BYD’s newest platform, the e-Platform 3.0 Evo platform (rather than the e-Platform 3.0).

The Sealion 7 was just launched in Germany, its first European launch, a couple of weeks ago.
