Daimler Truck Brand FUSO Handed Over 22 All-Electric eCanter to Planway Logística in Spain

Planway Logística, a logistics provider based in Orense, Spain, added 22 FUSO eCanter to its fleet: All vehicles are operating from now on as part of the distribution fleet of Correos, the postal service provider of Spain.

The battery-electric 8.55 t light-duty trucks with a 4,450 mm wheelbase come with a 129 kW electric motor and the L-size battery pack with a range of up to 200 km with one battery charge. The vehicle combines compact dimensions and great maneuverability with a high load volume, which makes it suitable for inner-city distribution and postal deliveries in urban areas.

With the smallest turning circle in its class, its high payload and its versatility, the FUSO Canter has been an international bestseller among light trucks for more than six decades. Since its market launch in 1963, more than 4.5 million FUSO Canters have been produced worldwide. The vehicle is available in five weight classes (3.5 t to 8.55 t), with six wheelbases (2,500 mm to 4,750 mm), three powerful engines (96 - 129 kW) and three cab variants (standard (1.7 m wide), comfort (2.0 m) and crew cab (2.0 m).

The Canter and the all-electric eCanter are produced for the European market at the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe plant in Tramagal, Portugal, and for all other markets at the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation plant in Kawasaki, Japan.
