TotalEnergies, on behalf of the Danish Underground Consortium, has restored gas production from three of six fields tied back to the Tyra field center in the Danish North Sea, partner BlueNord said in an update.
But while ramp-up operations at the Tyra II redevelopment continue, various operational challenges and bad weather have impacted progress, with short weather windows delaying reactivation of the Tyra satellite wells.
Based on current weather predictions, TotalEnergies has extended the timeline for reactivating all satellite wells needed to attain plateau production until the second half of January.
“Once the necessary wells have been reactivated, we do not expect performance to be subject to weather in the way that it has been during the startup phase,” said BlueNord CEO Euan Shirlaw.
