The news follows the recently announced collaboration agreement between ERGS and Taiwan Offshore Windfarm Service Corp. (TOWSC) for the local offshore wind market.
With the agreement, ERSG and TOWSC target the manning services from construction, commissioning, to O&M stages for offshore wind projects in Taiwan.
At the same time, both parties agree to introduce international experts with experiences to train and co-work with local personnel in order to increase the localization of skilled professionals.
According to ERSG, the Taipei office is expected to enable the company to further assist the offshore wind sector in the region and the ability to supply workers to projects.
"The Taiwanese offshore wind market is one of the fastest growing in Asia and we view the opening of our local office in Taipei as an important step in ensuring we provide the best possible service to our clients operating in the region," said ERSG COO Lucien Sullivan.
