The Li L series remains a significant contributor to the company’s revenue and profitability, nearing a milestone of one million units delivered. Alongside this, the Li MEGA Ultra Intelligent Driving Edition is now open for pre-orders on the company’s website, with further details anticipated at Auto Shanghai 2025.
At the ZGC Forum last week, Li Auto revealed plans to open-source its self-developed vehicle operating system, Halo OS, becoming the first automaker worldwide to do so. This initiative seeks to foster advancements in smart vehicle technology. Additionally, during the NVIDIA GTC conference, the company introduced the core concepts and structure of its next-generation autonomous driving system, MindVLA, aimed at enhancing the reach of self-driving capabilities.
Li Auto’s network has expanded significantly. As of March 31, 2025, the company operates 500 retail centres across 150 cities and 502 after-sales and authorised repair centres in 225 cities. It also manages 2,045 supercharging stations nationwide, equipped with 11,038 charging piles, supporting its growing customer base.
A company spokesperson commented: “Our focus on innovation and infrastructure reflects our commitment to meeting demand while advancing sustainable mobility.” The open-sourcing of Halo OS and the development of MindVLA underline Li Auto’s efforts to lead in intelligent vehicle solutions, while the Li L series and upcoming Li MEGA models drive its market performance.
The delivery figures highlight Li Auto’s steady growth in the new energy vehicle sector, supported by its expanding retail and charging network. The company continues to prioritise technological progress and customer accessibility, positioning itself as a key player in the industry. With Auto Shanghai 2025 on the horizon, Li Auto is set to unveil more updates, building on its strong first-quarter results.
