Reganosa attributes this progress to consistent development and adaptability, nearly tripling its workforce over the past five years. The company offers a wide range of services covering a project’s full lifecycle, including feasibility studies, engineering oversight, construction, commissioning, training, network simulation, process optimization, and due diligence. These capabilities have supported its global outreach and operational success.
In addition to its Mugardos LNG import terminal in Spain, Reganosa manages several facilities worldwide. These include floating terminals in Brünsbuttel, Germany, and Tema, Ghana, as well as the small-scale Higas LNG terminal in Sardinia, Italy, and the Delimara regasification terminal in Malta. Storage capacities at these sites vary from 9,000 to 300,000 cubic meters. The Mugardos terminal, operational since 2007, handles 3.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually and received a jetty upgrade in 2022 as part of modernization efforts.
In October 2024, Avenir LNG, a shareholder in the Higas LNG terminal, sold its stake to three major shareholders: Stolt-Nielsen, Golar LNG, and Höegh Evi. This transaction reflects ongoing adjustments in ownership among Reganosa’s managed assets. The company’s diverse portfolio and expertise continue to drive its expansion, positioning it as a key player in the global LNG market.
Reganosa’s latest contract in Asia underscores its growing influence, with services now spanning 30 countries. The firm’s ability to adapt and deliver comprehensive solutions has fueled a revenue surge, with international earnings playing a larger role than ever. This growth, paired with a near-tripling of its workforce, highlights Reganosa’s commitment to meeting global energy demands through LNG infrastructure and related services.
