On April 9, 2025, VOYAH, a Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) brand, celebrated a key milestone by producing its 200,000th vehicle. Launched in April 2019 by Dongfeng Motor, VOYAH became the automaker’s first NEV brand. Its product range now includes the FREE SUV, Dreamer MPV, Passion sedan, and Courage SUV, fulfilling a plan of “three categories in three years, four models in four years.”

Public records show VOYAH hit its initial 10,000-unit mark in January 2022, just 553 days after its debut. In 2023, the brand recorded seven straight months of sales increases, delivering over 50,000 vehicles for the year. Remarkably, it doubled its total production from 100,000 to 200,000 units in only 12 months, reflecting rapid growth.

VOYAH’s CEO, Lu Fang, previously outlined the company’s 2024 focus, stating: “VOYAH will go ‘all in’ on intelligent technology development.” This includes equipping all models—MPVs, SUVs, and sedans—with Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent driving system. The company aims to introduce over four new models this year, targeting annual sales of 200,000 units. Alongside this, VOYAH is advancing its own smart technology integration.

The latest VOYAH Courage model showcases these efforts, featuring the Xiaoyao smart cockpit with a 15.05-inch OLED curved sliding screen, powered by the high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip for seamless in-car experiences. The Courage also includes VOYAH’s self-developed Kunpeng L2.9 driver assistance system, supporting features like autonomous highway merging, lane changes, collision avoidance, and road-edge navigation. Its parking technology offers full-scenario remote parking, automated parking, reverse path tracking, and remote vehicle repositioning.

Sales figures further highlight VOYAH’s momentum. In March 2025, the brand delivered 10,012 vehicles, a 64% increase from March 2024. First-quarter sales reached 26,034 units, up 59% from the same period last year. This growth underscores VOYAH’s rising presence in the NEV market.

Since its inception, VOYAH has prioritized expanding its lineup and enhancing vehicle intelligence, aligning with broader trends in the automotive industry. The milestone of 200,000 vehicles reflects its ability to scale production efficiently while meeting consumer demand for advanced, sustainable transportation options. With ambitious plans for 2024, including new model launches and cutting-edge technology, VOYAH aims to strengthen its position in the competitive NEV sector.
