The company said in a statement that the new name more accurately reflects its focus on stepping up the transition to a renewables-powered future. The rebranding comes into effective immediately.
Octopus Renewables, which invests in commercial solar and onshore wind, entered the renewable energy market in 2010 and currently manages more than GBP 3 billion (USD 3.76bn/EUR 3.35bn) of assets globally, with a combined capacity exceeding 2.3 GW.
