Energy Research Institute of National Development and Reform Commission , LongGi Green Energy Co,.Ltd, and Shaanxi Coal Industry and Chemical Industry jointly issued the "China's 2050 PV Development Outlook" and proposed that driven by factors such as technological advancement and system efficiency improvement, the cost of photovoltaic power generation will rapidly decrease. By 2025, photovoltaic power generation will be one of the most economical new generation technologies. By 2050, photovoltaics, as China's largest form of power supply, will generate nearly 40% of the entire society's electricity consumption.
