UK-based pressure, temperature and level measurement solutions specialist Hydrotechnik has revealed to H2 View that it is preparing for lift-off in the hydrogen energy sector with the development of a range of new products.
The range includes a recently new developed hydrogen pressure sensor, specifically designed, tried and tested for use with hydrogen systems.
Hydrotechnik UK has manufactured and developed products for industries as diverse as mobile hydraulics to Formula One motor racing for years.
Committed to developing new products for current and future trends, however, the company uses its vast experience and knowledge to ensure it’s prepared for new technology and markets and in this instance, that means the growing hydrogen energy industry.
Since the announcement of the Net Zero Emissions Target there has been an increased focus on new technologies to achieve a carbon neutral future, of which hydrogen fuel is at the forefront.
Hydrotechnik has already developed a specific range of products for use with hydrogen-based systems, a product range that includes pressure, temperature and level measurement along with microbore hose and test points.
A new hydrogen pressure sensor has been developed in particular, specifically designed, tried and tested for use with hydrogen. The HT-H2 pressure sensor offers a stainless steel 316L measuring cell free from any welds and is available with various outputs, thread connections, electrical connections and pressure ranges from full vacuum up to 1,000 bar.
In addition to its range of hydrogen-related products, Hydrotechnik UK also has been developing solutions for the different media used or produced in the process of producing hydrogen, such as water, oxygen and ethanol.
